Hey Now You're an All-star

The song that goes "Hey now, you're an all-star, get your game on, go play. Hey now, you're a rock star, get your show on, get paid..." was on the radio this morning. Auburn heard the first few bars and yelled "SHREK!". The song plays during the opening credits of the first Shrek movie. We've watched that movie a couple of times...Yeah.

Auburn's First Haircut

Auburn had her first haircut yesterday at Kuts 4 Kids. They had cool chairs and you got to pick out a movie to watch while you got your haircut, and they had suckers AND a play area with a cool train set! Cody thought the $17.95 haircut for a kid was QUITE the ripoff but honestly I thought the price was worth the lack of tears and frustration. Don't tell him I said so...

Small Group New Year's Day

Auburn's 2 year pictures

I took Auburn to get her two year pictures yesterday. We got a couple of super cute ones and some that were just cute. :) Grandma's will get hard copies in the mail. Aunties may get one but I can't remember how many I ordered!

New Year's downtown Denver

The party was fun. The dueling piano bar guys weren't that good. The live band was good but that is where the 40+ crowd was. The dj dance floor was all about the bump and grind and thus the age range there was about 21-25. We had a good time hanging out with Lance and Patti, Treece and Allison though and the dessert was yumm. We even met up with Kati and Andy down on 16th Street for the midnight countdown and fireworks. My favorite pictures are here...
